Huashi box-type substation not only combines the advantages of the miniaturization of American-style box-type substations and the automated configuration of European-style box-type substations, but also forms its unique characteristics of safety, reliability, convenience and environmental protection. Huashi box-type substation is particularly suitable for wind power and photovoltaic projects, fully demonstrating its application potential in the new energy field. Its structure generally adopts a triangular layout. The high-voltage side configuration of Huashi box-type substation is different from that of American-style box-type substation. Its high-voltage distribution room mainly uses air-insulated ring main units, which are equipped with numerous components such as isolating switches, vacuum circuit breakers, current transformers, zinc oxide arresters, cable heads, earthing switches and live display devices. On the low-voltage side, the configuration of Huashi box-type substation is consistent with that of American-style and European-style box-type substations.
